Hello -

I see there is an "Observer" field in the manual task definition, but the help button is empty and there were no hits in your google sites or online docs.

How does it work? What is its intended use? I do see that it is a script. Could it be used to call a connector?

Thank you for any information.

Michael

Hi Michael,

The Observer notion is a new level of rights introduced with RunMyProcess latest release.
Observer profile can be defined to allow a role to access, read-only, manual tasks that it is not assigned to.
You can configure the Observer profile at Project level (through the "Access Rights" tab of the project), if you want a role (or several ones) to be able to access (read-only) all manual tasks of the project, or at Manual Task level (by filling in the Observer field by a role id, or any freemarker script that returns a role id, and not more than one), if you want a role to be able to access (read-only) this specific manual task.

Hope it's clear enough,
Regards,
