Hello,
the following process was updated when Google changed recently variable "P_cookie.S" to "P_cookie.T".

PROJECT NAME REQUEST ID
MAP 879b7110-f531-11e2-a1e0-1231380c7265

Now, the process is blocked trying to assign "S_cookie = P_cookie.T"
but the variable does not exist as Google in the meanitime changed back to "P_cookie.S".

I would create the "P_cookie.S" but I am not able as it is an internal parameter, so I tried this:
1- assigned manually to S_cookie the "P_cookie.S" value
2- put the red task (that assign the value) in waiting
hoping the process passed over

Unfortunately, the process gives error anyway because of P_cookie.T non-existent

Could you, please, help on this ?

Thank you,
Luigi

Hi Luigi,

1 - Go into your process configuration and replace ${P_cookie.T} with ${P_cookie.S} (it is not done yet >> refer image below)

2 - Save

3 - Create Live version

4 - Relaunch the Process 1 step before (it will not recreate the Manual task so it's ok)

Best regards.

Hello Dimitri,
if I understood, I should create a "corrected" version and tell RMP to use it for all process, that is also for ALL the ONGOING ones.
Unfortunately, I have done some other development changes, thus I would not that ongoing processes get the new version because of unpredictable issues.

Is there any other workaround ?

Regards,
Luigi

Luigi,

You should go into your modified resources, click on "Revision" Inline image 1 and revert Inline image 2 with the ones you had when you went LIVE for the last time with that project.

It implies that you previously went to the project version history and checked the last version "Created on" column.

Once done, you will be in the same context as you were when going LIVE. Thereafter, you will be able to fix your S_cookie problem.

Best regards.

Dimitri,
I am checking the "Version" tab of MAP project and I have a doubt.

My last release in production has been n. 43432 (8 July) BUT I found that
there are 2 more "version" (46660 and 46668) I have not created.

So, I think they have been created by RMP probably when I first reported the problem with Google cookie, about one week ago.

Now, I am quite sure that the last one n.46668, has been put in production with flag that says to use it for both NEW and ONGOING processes.
So, the risk I liked to avoid has no sense anymore because all the MAP ongoing processes are using the last one (RMP) in production.
What do you think ?
Could you, please, check ?

If the situation is that, I think I have no other possibility than your first solution, that is change the code, create a new version and put it in production for both old and new processes.

Regards,
Luigi

Lugi,

Whatever you tick, it will inject the new configuration (of each of the boxes configuration) in Livhe radio buttons deals with the Architecture of the process.

If you are not sure, perform your manipulations backwards before going live and fix it.

Best regards.
