I'm new to RMP, now I'm trying to creating a leave application process using RMP.
I have 5 people to apply leave application, and 2 as higher authority to approval the leave.
I use spread sheet as DB. and the details of 5 members are already in the same.
I want to make each 5 of them separate login to leave application. like that for Higher authority.
Can I do this in RMP? if yes what all are the various ways to do the same. If anybody knows please explain me, what to do for the same?

Hi Jithin,

From you email, i understand that you need different user accounts on Runmyprocess for different people. If you already have a RunMyProcess account and if you are an administrator of that account, what you need to do is to create users for each of them with their email id's. Attached screenshot for reference. The users tab can be found in the left side menu. Do not check any of the checkboxes while creating the user if you want to receive a temporary password from runmyprocess.Once you receive it when the user try to login with the email and temporary password, system forces to create a new password.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Sushma

Hi Sushma,

As you told I registered as 30 days trial account. But I added 50 more users. So is it possible for using those users to create their own login to leave application? And I also want to know, what are the ways to connect external web page to RMP. What i actually mean is, i want to login in another web page and use the leave application interface from RMP. if possible please tell me the steps to do the same.

Thanks & Regards
Jithin K.V

Hi Jithin,

Thanks for signing up RunMyProcess trial account. Firstly in trial account you can only have 20 users active at the same time even if you have added 50 users remaining users are inactive. You can deactivate one and activate other depending on which users you wanted to be active.

To access applications built on RunMyProcess, users have to be logged into their RunMyProcess accounts. You can create a login page where user can enter credentials and login or else users will see default RunMyProcess popup for Login while accessing the Leave application page.(web interface)

So if you want to access RMP leave application page from other websites then you can have RMP URL there and on click redirects to login page or you can use iframe and embed the RMP page in that website.

Thanks,
Sushma

Hi,

I'm creating a interface for enrollment form and using a Google spreadsheet to store details(name, branch(list of states eg:karnarata, and value of list item KA),date, contact number etc.and submit button to do the action).

In that i want to generate a auto number while storing to database in format (enrollment number should be alphanumeric and should contain a prefix based on the branch (e.g. KA, KL, TN) and year (e.g. 14), month (e.g. 08) and an auto increment no for the month (should reset to 0001 for the next month and other for different branch))
And want to show the generated number as an alert after submitting the form, each time it should check the branch and auto incremented number(0001,0002 etc) and create the enrollment form

Hope i will get a answer.

Thanks
