Check if user is valid/registered

Hello,
I have a maintenance screen that allows customer to define some user extra attributes such as user department, manager, etc. (attached example)
Sometimes people are informing an e-mail address in the screen that belongs to someone that is still not registered in the platform.
They launch a process, RMP tries to assign a task to this person which results in a process error: User Unknown: xx...@xxxx.com
I want to check if the informed e-mail address is valid, I mean, the e-mail address must belong to a user that is valid and registered in the platform.
Can you point me a direction to follow or give me an example function (javascript) to perform this check?

You can use the connector "Get all users of an account" from the RunMyProcess connector library. From these data you can check the email address of the user is vaild or not.
