Updating the process instance

Hi Team,

I would like to ask, Can we combine number of pending task to a Specific user of the same process in single web form. So that he will know that these many task are pending for me.

I know that this functionality already available. Which shows the pending, completed, canceled etc. But that won't allow us to submit the task.

In RMP the process is updated by a button. Can it be possible to update the process by another way. I mean using some script or any other widget in RMP for eg. the Radio Button or the Checkbox.

My aim is to create a web form for user which will show him no. of task pending against him with the relevant details of that process instance. And he will be able to submit the tasks from that webform only.

Hi Sagar,

You can use [[user.login]] in the filter criteria of the Process/WI reports so that the specific user who is logging in would be able to see his pending tasks only and then you can attach this report to the report widget of the WI.The report will contain the Pending/Completed tasks accordingly of that specific user only and he can click on his pending instances and submit the task as well.

I understand how can we filter or collect the pending/completed task at one place for one specific user.

My subquestion is can we submit that task from there only. Without clicking on the link of that task and going to that web-form.

Suppose I have one user who may receive a lots of request in a day. And he dosen't want to go and check each email, then go to that form and then complete his/her task.

It will be good idea that he can submit or approve multiple request/task for him from that place only where he can see the total number of pending tasks.

One more question for you is can we add "radio button" or "Check box" to the Report to one of the column.

Hi Sagar,

You can add a Radio button/Check box to the report widget.Add a column to the report and use a html code to create input type in the script part of it.

For ex: "<input type='checkbox' name ='chkbox'>"
