Hi

Customer wants to store files in their local machine and access instead of uploading to server or using Google Docs (or any similar cloud storage). Please let me know if this is possible and what needs to be done for that

Thanks in advance

Regards

Vinod

Hi,

Please integrate "SEC-File Reader Adapter" to retrieve files from a local server. Please find reference links below.

Thank you,

Hi Pankaj

Thanks for the guidance.

I am trying it out first in my laptop. It is a stand alone machine and there is no domain.

I am able to install both server and agent. I configured agent and settings in RunMyProcess as per documentation. When I try to run agent it is reporting error. When I give domain as WORKGROUP, it is reporting domain does not exist. If I leave in blank in config file, it is reporting, domain is required

Request help

Regards

Hi,

Kindly make sure you have added a domain in RunMyProcess and configure the same domain in config file.

Please refer to attached screen-print to create a domain in RMP IDE.

Thank you,
Pankaj Kumar

Hi Pankaj

Thanks for the quick reply.

I tried setting some value in domain but it is throwing error.

I am using stand alone computer. Please let me know if it would work in such environment or should I have domain?

Regards

Hi Vinod,

You can use any random name to create a domain for test purpose. Also it is fine using a standalone computer for it to test this functionality. Kindly make sure you are using the same domain that you created in RunMyProcess IDE and you configured in config file of adapter.

Thank you,
Pankaj Kumar
