Can we add manual task to process start

I want to know whether we can add a manual task to process start. can we show a symbol for process start is associated with some interface? by clicking to process start can we load the interface associated with that?

Hi Tejas,

i create a process, by default there will be a process start, i want to give a manual task to that start, and i also want the manual activity symbol on that start to load that specific manual interface by clicking that symbol. whether is it possible? if yes please guide me to do the same. and i also want to know how the manual task can run like in launch able interface for testing the manual interface.

 Hi,

No, You cannot assign manual activity to start.

 

In other way you can trigger process from launch able web interface i.e. what you want. You can trigger a process on submission of your form. Then you can add manual activity to assign that task.

Hi Arun,

Tejas is referring, to trigger a process manually(on click of a button), you can create a Launchable Web Interface and assign a process in it which you want to trigger, and you can also add another manual activity in the same Web Interface.

Hi,

You can trigger the process on click of the button. Select a button and action type Start process.

Then you can add screen to your web interface.

In process, you need to select activity type "manual" and select the screen which you want to assign.
