Hi Everyone,
Hope you’ve all been doing well! We know that a lot of you have exams these next few weeks so we are on break for this week. Good luck on your exams! For those of you feeling overwhelmed, tired, worried we are right here if you want anyone to talk to or pray for you! Here is the link for the prayer form!
No Event: There is no RFCF event this week. We will be back next Tuesday!
CMDA Chicagoland Worship Night: The Northwestern CMDA chapter is planning a Worship night for Saturday, October 9th at 7pm. They have invited us to join them and it will be a great time of worship and fellowship! Additionally, they would like to have a meet up before the event with a dinner outdoors at Lake Shore Park at 6pm. We would pick up a dinner of our choice and have a meal together with the other CMDA chapters before walking to Northwestern's campus for the worship night.
For those interested, we will organize for us to carpool to the event together! If you have any further questions, please contact Favour through GroupMe, email or by text.

ElderCARE Lake County: ElderCARE is a tremendous organization focused on caring for elders in the community that is currently in need of more volunteers. ElderCARE has many unpaired, isolated elders in need of a companion volunteer, so just one phone call a week from a volunteer like you can make a big and immediate difference in someone's life!
ElderCARE pairs volunteers with an elder who would benefit from interaction, friendship, and companionship. This is a great opportunity for health professions students as this can be done via phone call (or home visits if you are interested), once a week, offering busy students a consistent and convenient opportunity to serve. Attached is all of the necessary training information.
Interested students may apply at ElderCARE's website and should reach out to emma.so...@my.rfums.org (or via GroupMe) so she can ensure your application was received and also answer any questions.
Favorite Bible Verses and Books: In order for us to continue to live our lives in the image of Christ, we need to build up our arsenal of biblical knowledge. Please share with us your favorite verse as well as any encouraging books that you have read. We will share the responses through RFCF.

Questions: Oftentimes the bible can be confusing. There are sayings or verses that make you stop and go “what?”, and a lot of topics are plainly difficult to understand. For those of you who have any questions about the bible, about God, or a particular topic you just want to know more about, you can submit the questions below and we’ll answer them!

RFCF Accountability Small Groups: For those who would like to be a part of a small group that aims to encourage each other on spiritual growths, such as prayer, bible reading, etc. you can sign up to be a part of an Accountability Small Group. Each small group will be facilitated by a member of the E-board and will have their own GroupMe where they can interact and provide each other spiritual accountability. Additionally, small groups will meet once a month to provide further support and sharing.
If you are interested, please sign up below! Everyone is welcome to join at any time during the year.
