Merry Christmas Everyone!
Christmas is just around the corner, and New Years is following close by. We will not be meeting this week, so we at RFCF want to wish you all the best these holidays. For those of you who are feeling tired or stressed, or just need someone to talk to, we’re right here for you!
Board Applications: Interested in getting more involved and serving God through Rosalind Franklin Christian Fellowship? If so, apply for the RFCF leadership board. It’s a great opportunity to charge forward and grow deeper in your faith. Applications are due by midnight, January 19th, 2022. Before you fill out the following form, please take some time to pray about this decision. Additionally, if you have any questions please ask any current board member.

Questions: Oftentimes the bible can be confusing. There are sayings or verses that make you stop and go “what?”, and a lot of topics are plainly difficult to understand. For those of you who have any questions about the bible, about God, or a particular topic you just want to know more about, you can submit the questions below and we’ll answer them!

ElderCARE Lake County: ElderCARE is a tremendous organization focused on caring for elders in the community that is currently in need of more volunteers. ElderCARE has many unpaired, isolated elders in need of a companion volunteer, so just one phone call a week from a volunteer like you can make a big and immediate difference in someone's life!
ElderCARE pairs volunteers with an elder who would benefit from interaction, friendship, and companionship. This is a great opportunity for health professions students as this can be done via phone call (or home visits if you are interested), once a week, offering busy students a consistent and convenient opportunity to serve. Attached is all of the necessary training information.
Interested students may apply at ElderCARE's website and should reach out to emma.so...@my.rfums.org (or via GroupMe) so she can ensure your application was received and also answer any questions.
