Hi Everyone,
How’s everyone been? This week RFCF is having Bible Study. Come on by if you want to take a break and learn a little bit more about the bible! For those of you feeling overwhelmed, tired, worried we are right here if you want anyone to talk to or pray for you! Here is the link for the prayer form!
Bible Study: This week we will be having bible study! The topic is “James 4”. The bible study will take place this Wednesday, September 29th at 12pm. Room location is CLC 2.050! Remember to RSVP on Engage by 9 am on Wednesday to attend. You can use the link below:

For those of you who missed last week’s session, here are the slides!
Commuters: For our members that are commuters or those who aren't able to attend our in person events regularly, we want to be able to make some of the RFCF resources easily accessible to you! Therefore, depending on the session, we will have some pre- bible study readings or post session sharing of materials or bible study readings. Please reach out to us if you need further support!
ElderCARE Lake County: ElderCARE is a tremendous organization focused on caring for elders in the community that is currently in need of more volunteers. ElderCARE has many unpaired, isolated elders in need of a companion volunteer, so just one phone call a week from a volunteer like you can make a big and immediate difference in someone's life!
ElderCARE pairs volunteers with an elder who would benefit from interaction, friendship, and companionship. This is a great opportunity for health professions students as this can be done via phone call (or home visits if you are interested), once a week, offering busy students a consistent and convenient opportunity to serve. Attached is all of the necessary training information.
Interested students may apply at ElderCARE's website and should reach out to emma.so...@my.rfums.org (or via GroupMe) so she can ensure your application was received and also answer any questions.
Favorite Bible Verses and Books: We were so encouraged by everyone sharing their favorite verses and encouraging books during our last bible study! In order for us to continue to live our lives in the image of Christ, we need to build up our arsenal of biblical knowledge. Please share with us your favorite verse as well as any encouraging books that you have read. We will share the responses through RFCF.

Questions: Oftentimes the bible can be confusing. There are sayings or verses that make you stop and go “what?”. And there are a lot of topics that are difficult to understand. For those of you who have any questions about the bible, about God, or a particular topic you just want to know more about, you can submit the questions below and we’ll answer them!

RFCF Accountability Small Groups: For those who would like to be a part of a small group that aims to encourage each other on spiritual growths, such as prayer, bible reading, etc. you can sign up to be a part of an Accountability Small Group. Each small group will be facilitated by a member of the E-board and will have their own GroupMe where they can interact and provide each other spiritual accountability. Additionally, small groups will meet once a month to provide further support and sharing.
If you are interested, please sign up below! Everyone is welcome to join at any time during the year.
