Hi Everyone,
Hope you’re all enjoying the break! We hope you all had a great Christmas and are wishing you the best this New Year's Eve.
Next Wednesday, January 5th at noon, the Benjamin Rush Institute is partnering with the Rosalind Franklin Christian Fellowship to present "Complexity Science for the Health Professional: Another Arrow in Your Quiver. Use the zoom link below to attend:
https://rosalindfranklin.zoom.us/j/99998038854
Dr. Russell Gonnering, retired oculofacial surgeon, will be speaking on complexity science from the standpoint of free-market healthcare economics. Complexity science is often described as the "science of common sense," or the science of inherent uncertainty. Dr. Gonnering will share insight and advice to students concerning the critical role of the individual in complex adaptive systems--such as large medical and hospital systems--and tools by which the individual physician can make optimal decisions and judgments when facing risk and uncertainty.
For those of you who might be interested more in complexity science please check out the attached readings before the event!
We hope to see you there!
