ROR release 2.9 and ROR "summer school" in July

Another sizable release today! Release 2.9 adds 1908 new records and updates 523 existing records. As always, new and updated records are immediately available in the ROR API and can be downloaded from Zenodo at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6347574. 

We're doing something new at the next ROR Community Call on July 15th, and since you're a member of the ROR Technical Forum, you might be particularly interested. This "summer school" edition of the call will feature an in-depth exploration of the ROR API’s affiliation service for matching text strings to ROR IDs. After a brief introduction to the service, participants will engage in hands-on self-directed exercises suitable for any and all skill levels and will have the opportunity to ask the ROR tech team live questions about how the service works. As usual, the ROR team will also give brief updates about ongoing work; all participants are also invited to ask questions, provide feedback, and share news about their ROR integrations.
