ROR release 1.18 and ROR annual meeting events next week

Hi all,

Version 1.18 of the ROR registry has been released. In this release, we have added 155 new organizational records and have updated 261 existing records. As always, this version of the registry is now available both in our API and in the ROR data dump on Zenodo.

Also, there's still time to register for next week's ROR Annual Meeting sessions on Tuesday, January 31st and Wednesday, February 1st!

Strategies for Matching Affiliation Strings to ROR IDs, February 1st, 17:00 UTC - an exciting session for more technical users on methods of matching text strings to ROR IDs, featuring talks and demos by OpenAlex, the US Department of Energy's Office of Scientific and Technical Information, the Allen Institute for AI, and Crossref
