ROR data release 2.0, plus ROR Annual Community Meeting

Hi all,

It's a new era for the the Research Organization Registry! The latest release of ROR is available, and guess what: now that we've sunset version 1 of the ROR schema and API, the latest data release is designated as 2.0. Release 2.0 of ROR adds 249 records and updates 228 records, bringing the total number of active, inactive, and withdrawn records in ROR to 120445. 

We're looking forward to even more 2.x releases of the registry in 2026, and we hope you are too. Before you leave for any winter break you might be taking, consider registering for one or more ROR Annual Community Meetings starting February 2: https://ror.org/events/
