ROR API performance issues (now resolved)

Hi folks,

The ROR API has been under high load for the past 24 hours or so, so response times are a little slower than usual. This is due to a sustained and constant volume of requests just under the rate limit from 6 IP addresses originating from a proxy service Proxy6 LLC.

Additional rate limiting has been applied to these IPs, so performance should return to normal shortly. If this is your application, please contact sup...@ror.org . As always, a friendly reminder that ROR is a shared community resource provided at no cost to users, so please be considerate of other users when configuring applications that use the ROR API.
