There's
a new release of the ROR Registry! Release 1.62 adds 417 records and
updates 541 records, bringing the total of active, inactive, and
withdrawn records in ROR to 114725.
If you missed the most recent Community Call, you can see the
slides and recording at
https://ror.org/events/2025-03-20-ror-community-call/
Highlights from the call:
- The curation team has been very busy: volume is now at over
1,000 requests per month! Ongoing projects include adding and
updating many Japanese and Portuguese organizations.
- Work on client IDs for the ROR API continues; remember that
version 1 of the ROR API is slated to be deprecated in 2025.
- Notable recent adoptions we've learned of include
DigiCorePro and DergiPark's UDS, while notable forthcoming
adoptions include Atypon and OJS 3.5.
- Crossref's Martyn Rittman goes over how to use ROR IDs for
funder identification in Crossref metadata.
- CHORUS's Tara Packer tells us about CHORUS's work and how
CHORUS uses ROR IDs.
As always, if you have topics you'd like to discuss or work you'd
like to share at an
upcoming
call, please let us know!
Cheers,
Amanda
