ROR will be attending the STM US conference, CSE, FORCE2026, and
PIDfest this year
In Q1, ROR's work has included making improvements to the curation
workflow, reconciling Japanese records, and focusing on creating
records for scholarly societies
We're also working to make the new "single search" matching
strategy the default in the matching endpoint of the ROR API
In June, we'll be working to refresh the ROR web search, with the goal of
releasing improvements in the fall
Featured ROR users include openRxiv, VIVO, and the Flemish
Organization Registry
Yvonne Campfens gives the details of OA Switchboard's planned
implementation of the ROR single search matching strategy, and their
approach includes creating affiliation strings from values different
JATS fields, which can vary widely by publisher
Jagadeeswararao Poluru of Europe PMC & Alma Nilsson of
SciLifeLab co-present about an initiative to make the research
