Hey everybody,

Lent is upon us.   That means eating pumpkins with our noses.

The video you want is here.  You should probably watch both this video (start it at 4:32) and this one to really understand what I'm hitting at.  A seriously good time can be had here though.

For your lenten journey:
  • Lenten Small Faith Sharing Groups - Connect with folks like you throughout this Lenten series inpired by Henri Nowen.
  • Lenten Dimensions -  Great short daily reflections by people from all walks of life.
  • Lenten Challenge for this week:  Turn off your cell phone for at least 1 hour each day.

In the immediate moment:
  • February 24th - 6:30pm - Catholic Worker Potluck and Discussion.  This will prove to be a great time featuring Chris Haw, a local author and theologian.  BYOB.  RSVP if you can.
  • February 29th - 7:00pm - Faith in Action at Christ Our Light in Cherry Hill, NJ - Join us for a deeper exploration in using Catholic Social Teaching to expand your spiritual life.
  • February 28th - 7:00pm - Bible Study - Collingswood, NJ - If you do nothing else with your Lent, you should join us for this.
When the saints come marching in:
  • March 8th - 7:00pm - Theology on Tap - "Why are you standing there looking at the sky? Living as Disciples" - Patrick Cashio gives a riveting tale and reflection while you take a few pints down.
  • March 10th - Lenten Day of Service.
  • March 23rd - Romero Lecture Series - "Politics and the Pews"

Peace,

Patrick Cashio
