Hey Everyone,

Saturday, March 24th, is the 32nd anniversary of Oscar Romero's assassination.  This is a big time of year for us as we try to remember Romero for the spirit of freedom and liberation that he spoke for.

Please join us tomorrow March 23rd for our annual Romero Lecture Series.  If you can't take off work then at least try to make it for the keynote with Dr. Stephen Schneck from Catholic University at 7:00pm.  

NB: Following the keynote all young adults are invited for a post-lecture conversation and drink at the Victor Pub in downtown Camden.  If you want to just come for the drinks we'll be getting there around 9:00pm.

Lent:

• Lenten Dimension:  This stuff has been spiritual gold.
• Lenten Challenge:  Electricity fast
• Try to keep the lights off as much as possible.
• Turn off the computer.  Read.
• Try doing things by candle light.
• Go outside.
• Keep the same schedule as the sun.

Events:

• March 30th - 6:30pm - Catholic Worker Roundtable and Potluck - We'll be hearing from Peter Pedimonti of the New Sanctuary Movement in Philadelphia. - Bring a dish or a bottle to pass.  Please RSVP if you can.
• April 14th - 9:00am - Day of Service - We'll be working with the St. Joseph's Carpenter's Society on a continued house demolition.  We'd love to have you.
• April 8th - Dawn - Easter - This is probably the biggest deal about being a Christian.
