Lenten Devotional Series: A Journey of Reflection and Renewal

Day 29: Consecration in Community

📖 Acts 2:42-44
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers... and all that believed were together, and had all things common.

📖 Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together...

Consecration is personal, but it is not private. In the early church, the power of the Spirit flowed freely because the believers were unified—not just in belief, but in practice. They worshipped, prayed, ate, gave, and grew together.

In today’s world, where independence is often prized, God reminds us that spiritual growth is meant to happen in community. We sharpen each other, strengthen each other, and multiply each other’s impact through unity.

🧱 Am I building meaningful spiritual relationships or isolating myself?
🧱 How can I be a source of encouragement to someone else’s walk today?
🧱 Who are the people I trust to hold me accountable and push me toward Jesus?

You were never meant to walk this journey alone. Consecration multiplies in community.

🙏 Lenten Prayer: Lord, thank You for the gift of community. Help me to lean into relationships that honor You. Use me to strengthen, support, and serve those around me in love and truth. Amen.
