Day 12: Strength in the Wilderness Prepares Us for Greater Multiplication📖 Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." 📖 Matthew 4:1-2 "Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry." Multiplication does not come without preparation and testing. Before Jesus began His earthly ministry, He endured 40 days of fasting, solitude, and spiritual warfare in the wilderness. It was in that place of waiting on the Lord that He was strengthened for His mission. The same applies to us. We often desire leadership development and greater gospel influence, but are we willing to endure the wilderness seasons that strengthen our faith and prepare us for greater assignments? Are we patient enough to allow God to work in us before working through us? 💪 Strength is built in the waiting. Sometimes, we want instant results, but God strengthens and stretches us in our season of waiting. Strength in the wilderness is not just for survival; it is for future multiplication. The patience and endurance developed in these seasons prepare us for what God has in store for us ahead. 💭 Reflection Questions: 👉 How am I responding to my wilderness season? 👉 What lessons is God teaching me to prepare me for more?
🙏 Lenten Prayer: Lord, strengthen me in my wilderness season. Let this time of preparation position me for greater Kingdom multiplication. Amen. |
