Day 20: The Cost of Consecration📖 Luke 9:23-24 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 📖 Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God... Consecration requires more than words—it demands our willingness to die to ourselves. Following Jesus means laying aside comfort, pride, and even personal plans for the sake of something greater. We often want resurrection without the cross, but true transformation is birthed in surrender. Ask yourself: 🛑 What is God asking me to lay down in this season? 🎯 Where is He calling me to deeper obedience—even when it's costly? 📖 Am I yielding every area of my life, or only the parts that feel safe? The cross is not a symbol of pain alone—it’s a pathway to power. 🙏 Lenten Prayer: Lord, I take up my cross again today. Let me not shrink back from the cost of following You. I consecrate my whole life to Your will. Amen. |
