Climate Change and Human Health Talk this WEDNESDAY

Dear members, 

IMIG and Student Physicians for Social Responsibility (SPSR) are co-hosting a guest lecture THIS Wednesday, December 9th at noon by distinguished CMS alumnus Dr. Peter Orris, an internist and Professor/Chief of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System.

 A U.S. representative at the 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference, Dr. Orris will discuss the impacts of climate change on human health as well as the role internists and other healthcare providers can take in addressing climate change. 

The talk will be at HSB 1.702, and lunch will be provided to the first 25 in attendance! See attached flyer for more details.
