Is Restlet 3.0 active?

Hey,

Is Restlet 3.0 in active development? Is there a preliminary date set?

From the GitHub repository ti seems dead because the last commit was almost a year ago (18 Feb 2017): https://github.com/restlet/restlet-framework. But the roadmap was updated more recently (18 Sept 2017): https://github.com/restlet/restlet-framework-java/wiki/Road-map-of-version-3. It also looks like restlet 3.0 was started in 2014 whcih is a long time ago.

So is it abandoned or can we expect a 3.0 release in the near future?

(A related question: Is this the best palce to ask questions about Restlet?)

Hi Robert,

Thanks for asking, and yes this is the right place to ask!

So, version 3 isn't under active development at this point. As part of Restlet acquisition by Talend last November, we are going to re-evaluate our product plans and available engineering resources for this version. We continue to actively maintain version 2 and will keep the community posted as we have more information.
