AI can be a powerful tool, but it can also feel like it’s taking over if we don’t stay intentional.

I've developed my Three Zones of AI framework to help people with this.

It involves thinking about using AI as an assistant vs. a replacement.

🟢 Green zone: AI as amplifier

This is your sweet spot. Use AI to research topics, brainstorm ideas, make content more accessible, or organize your thoughts. You're still driving, AI is just giving you superpowers.

🟡 Yellow zone: AI as efficiency tool

Proceed with awareness. Using AI to draft emails, automate routine tasks, or manage your schedule can be incredibly helpful. Just don't let it replace your decision-making.

🔴 Red zone: AI as replacement

Tread carefully here. When AI starts doing your critical thinking, creative work, or handling your important relationships, you might be crossing into territory that doesn't serve you.

I don't suggest avoiding yellow or red zones entirely, I'm suggesting learning to enter them consciously, knowing what you're trading off.

For more in-depth confidence building, I created a free AI mini course that provides 7 daily lessons delivered to help people consciously navigate AI.
