Date/Time started: Thursday 3/25 440PM EST
Estimated date/time of resolution: Thursday 3/25 450PM EST
Description: A replacement switch installation caused an unexpected traffic interruption
Member Impact: All REMC1 Members
Services Impact: All WAN, Voice and Internet services
Comment: Today Thursday March 25th at 440PM REMC1 installed a replacement core networking switch back into a high availability switch stack to replace a failed switch. Installing the switch should have resulted in no noticeable outage as the other members were operating normally. Unfortunately the synchronization of the new switch took longer then expected causing an short interruption in traffic. We apologize for this unforeseen issue.
