REMC1 Network service issue
Date/Time started: Thursday 8/4/22 Time TBD likely 330PM EST
Estimated date/time of resolution: Friday 8/5/22 12AM EST
Description: UPPCO and Contractors replacing faulty main breaker panel
Member Impact: All REMC1 Members
Services Impact: Internet, All REMC1 Services including Voice Service
Comment: The faulty main electrical panel of the Copper Country ISD Building is being replaced on Thursday 8/4 late evening around 330/4pm EST. The time is still being finalized. This building is the main building housing REMC1's core network equipment/firewall, connections and servers. The building will be on generator power for 8hrs during the work. There is no PLANNED outage during this repair and REMC1 will be on generator power for the entire duration except for a maximum of 15 minute where REMC1 equipment will run on UPS battery. REMC1 does not anticipate an outage but want to warn all members of the work and to be aware.
