Comment: On Wednesday January 25th at 330PM EST electricians will be moving REMC1 core networking and server equipment to new generator protected electrical runs finishing the moves at 5PM EST. REMC1 systems will run on battery backup for two 10 minute electrical moves during this timeframe. NO IMPACT is expected, but unforeseen issues can occur. This timeframe was chosen out of necessity with the contractor. A brand new high capacity generator is being installed to replace the aging "end of useful life" generator that is over 20 years old. This new, larger generator will provide ample room for expansion as well as continue to allow REMC1 to provide reliable uninterrupted services that our members have grown to expect.
