REMC1 Internet service issue
Date/Time started: 1AM EST Tuesday 1/1/19
Estimated date/time of resolution: 7AM EST Tuesday 1/1/19
Description: Merit fiber maintenance will cause a full outage from 1AM to 7AM EST 1/1/19
Member Impact: ALL DSISD, MCISD and DIISD districts
Services Impact: All WAN and Internet services
Comment: On Tusday 1/1/19 at 1AM EST Merit will be doing fiber maintenance while will cause a full internet and REMC1 services outage for DSISD, MCISD and DIISD. The Maintenance window is open until 7AM EST but this is a worst case scenario and a more realistic outage would occur for one or two hours. Merit is moving 3300 ft of underground fiber to accommodate an MDOT road improvement. We ask that you please plan accordingly.
