Happy End of July, Events Committee!
- Next EC meeting – We seem to have a lot of committee meetings on Wednesdays. Would anyone be interested in Friday (anytime or Mondays in the afternoons?
Last week, we had an opportunity to tour Chateau Bellevue while the BOD was in Austin for our meeting. Carlene, their Events Sales Manager, was our gracious guide through this historic space in central Austin. I have attached a link to my Google Drive with all my photos. A great deal of them are unnecessary, but I am absolutely in LOVE with this space.
This facility has a beautiful history! Nonprofits are offered a 20% discount for recurring evening events or a 10% discount regularly. We discussed this possibility while touring, and I later asked for 2024 and 2025 TELA events at this location. I have their events package information.
The opportunities are endless, and we felt the same with our décor options for this space, inside and out.
I took several photos of their décor, which we can use at no cost. I am thrilled they saved all these items to be reused!!! I am ridiculously excited to utilize all they have to offer.
We plan to host our reception on the upper and lower patio. We can open double doors (weather permitting) to merge the lower patio into our indoor space. I feel the need to add their HVAC system, which is brand new and spectacular!
In the upper historic "home” portion of the home, they will have one of the two security guards stationed to guide guests that enter through the "front" door.
80-private parking spaces are available for our event!
Page 4 lists each item included in our package.
Changing the type of chair is listed as an upgrade. However, Carlene stated that our choice of chair is included in the pricing. We will confirm this.
We did receive an estimate prior to our tour. With booking for two years, I am expecting to receive new pricing.

$2,400 ($3,000 - 20% Nonprofit Discount)

About the Chateau:
Chateau Bellevue is an historic 150-year-old French style Chateau known for its Romanesque limestone arches and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. Catering:
Catering is provided by our in-house partner, Limelight Catering. I've cc'd Jax Matthews, Catering Sales Manager, for your convenience. Limelight offers bar service as a BYOB option providing the bartenders and set-up with you, providing the alcohol, mixers and garnishes. We also have a preferred vendor, Peak Beverage, who is fantastic and makes planning an event seamless.
Our Event Packages:
Our event packages aim to include all of the essentials you will need for your event and keep the pricing simple. The Chateau rental is for a 6-hour period to include 2 hours of set-up, 3 hours of event time, and 1 hour of clean-up. Additional event hours can be added for $500/hr. Included amenities are dinner tables, an assortment of other tables that are 4fts, 6fts, 8fts, and various antique tables, cushioned gray chairs, all flatware, dinnerware, glassware, ivory linens, basic centerpieces, and a non-alcoholic beverage station (iced tea, hot tea, reg/decaf coffee, and ice), which is maintained throughout the entire event. We also provide A/V equipment such as wireless microphones, projector, 2 screens, wireless speakers and more.

Let me clarify- am I seeing this correctly?
I see that she potentially used an old email or the incorrect discount…hopefully, she gave us a higher discount in her original. I doubt this, though. That is what I pasted in my email below. I noted that I was not using that quote. I should have pointed out that I believe the discount was in error.
Per their 2024 pricing list, – a 20% nonprofit discount if you book reoccurring events, which we have requested.
