Interim Chair

Hi all, 

As discussed last week, we are in need of an interim chair to cover my responsibilities from October - December.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating monthly meetings and issue minutes to STAR Board
• Lead coordinating webinars
• Working with Adrian and H-E-B to approve Bin Grant parameters and timeline
• Work with STAR to advertise Bin Grant, and with Committee to review applications. 

Do we have any volunteers willing to take this on for the remainder of 2025? Note you will have the support of the committee, so there are opportunities to divide-and-conquer.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Following up on this. I will be on leave starting next Monday and want to make sure we have someone identified. 

We have already shared the parameters with HEB and are waiting for their response. They previously asked about a meeting on 11/25 or 12/2. Adrian is copied and can fill folks in once they response.

I am the LAST person who should volunteer to do anything else at this point… What I am willing to do is be in the meetings. I can help guide and be my typical outspoken self for whatever is needed.

Thank you, Lexus! I know you'll do great and will have the full committee's support when it comes to executing our initiatives. 

Also, thank you Brittny for always stepping up. It makes such a big difference to work with such caring and capable people. I know the committee will carry on strongly and can't wait to pick things back up in January.
