Hello! I hope your Tuesday is going well. My name is Malachi Key, and I'm one of the presenters that will be speaking on May 15th. I'm speaking at 10 AM on the panel titled "Beyond the Bin." As requested, I've attached my headshot and will paste a bio below:
Malachi Key is the Climate Justice Coordinator - Plastics at Air Alliance Houston. Within this role, Malachi works on community outreach and campaign building related to plastics. He's currently leading a campaign to push for more effective plastic recycling
measures within fenceline communities, as well as providing education and opposition to harmful "false solutions" like advanced recycling. Malachi has a background in journalism, grassroots organizing, and policy as well as former experience as a paramedic.
In his spare time, he enjoys exploring Houston's diverse DIY music and theater scene, professional wrestling, and fostering animals with his partner.
