1D Coordinates Service deprecation (switch by May 31, 2025)

Dear API users,

We are pleased to announce that the 1D Coordinates server (https://1d-coordinates.rcsb.org/) will soon be replaced by a new service, the Sequence Coordinates Service (https://sequence-coordinates.rcsb.org/). This updated service introduces several minor API adjustments designed to improve access to RCSB PDB features.

The current 1D Coordinates Service API will remain operational during a limited transition period and will be decommissioned on May 31, 2025.

Comprehensive documentation is available to guide you through the migration process to the new API.
