Monument Avenue 10k The Monument Ave 10k will be this Saturday, April 18th. Amateur radio volunteers will be providing communications from various points along the marathon route.  As a result, several local repeaters will be closed to routine traffic.  Unless you are a registered comms volunteer, please keep clear of the following repeaters from 6 AM to 4 PM: W4RAT 442.550 W4FJ 443.7125 KG4MRA 145.4300 Several other local repeaters are available for use, including KC4VDZ 147.135 & 442.3 in the city, KA4CBB 147.36 & 442.15 in Chester, N8ELS 145.11 in Hanover, and all of the local DMRVA networked repeaters. Field Day Radio Auction Over the past twenty years, RATS has used two Icom IC-746Pro radios as our primary tools on Field Day each June. These radios may be older, but they are fully functional contest-grade analog radios with relatively few hours on them. The club will be selling these radios to make room for smaller, more modern rigs. This provides our members and friends in the Richmond, Virginia Area an opportunity to purchase these radios - and a full suite of accessories - at a decent price. We will be auctioning each kit separately: First: May 1 through 7, 2026 Second: May 8 through 14, 2026 Please visit our auction information page for more important details!
