Hello Neighbors! October is packed with exciting activities!
Spoiler Alert! You might spot some familiar faces like Rick and Judy Talbot, Terry and Susanne Grout, Lois Thompson, Stephanie Callei, Lorie Cornell, Rick Hodgson, and Mike Derleth strutting their stuff in stylish outfits and accessories from the Assistance League Thrift Store, all available for purchase. At your request, more items from the Thrift Store will be on display for browsing and buying this year. All proceeds support the Assistance League of Huntington Beach.
Assistance League of Huntington Beach is a nonprofit, 100% volunteer organization whose mission is to improve the lives of children and adults in the communities of Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, and Westminster. We are a chapter of Assistance League National. We serve the needs of children and adults through fourteen philanthropic programs focused on education and self-esteem. Our programs are funded through our Assistance League Thrift Shop, our annual fundraiser ‘’Treasures by the Sea’’, donations and grants.
On Thursday, October 31, 5:00PM, join in or come watch the Halloween Doggie Parade and ‘trick or treating.’ To participate, meet by the small clubhouse with your costumed (optional) furry friends and parade through units 3 and 4. Everyone is welcome to join in. Event organized by Stephanie Callei.
