Hello Bay Area Youth Sailors and Parents,

This year the BAYS board has decided to start gathering information from our local demographic in hopes of creating a membership base which will lead to easier communication.  In order to do this we need sailors and parents to register as members of BAYS.  Some of you may have already done so when registering for the BAYS Winter #1.  You can register as a sailor or a supporter.

The BAYS board has also decided to separate the series registration from the individual regatta registration.  We are asking all sailors that plan on sailing the series and wish to get scored for the series to register via the link below.  There is a small series registration fee of $20.  In the past your series fee has been included in the individual event entry fees.  So you are not being charged anything extra then in the past.  This change will allow easier scoring of the series and better record keeping.  If you do not register for the series separately then you are not eligible to be scored for the perpetual awards.

New website update:  We are still in the process of switching the current BAYS website over to our new format powered by Clubspot.   We are optimistic that the new site will be finalized by the end of October.  For now, please contact your Program Directors and coaches for information about the series and upcoming regattas.  Thank you for your patience!
