Check the official call announcement for details on requirements and the selection process. To support submissions, we're offering a free 8-week workshop covering Big Team Science project components and providing feedback. The workshops are every Thursday at 11am EDT, from August 1 to September 19, on zoom!. Recordings will be available on the PSA YouTube channel. The zoom link and PSA calendar can be found here. member highlights We want to publicly thank Tia Blackall for their amazing year of service as Research Coordinator with the PSA! They are embarking upon an exciting new career chapter. Tia will join Simon Fraser University's Psychology Graduate program in the Experimental Law and Forensic Psychology stream. They plan to conduct research on subjectivity within the criminal justice system, such as cognitive bias effects in forensic practitioners. Thank you and good luck, Tia! news in big team science Submissions for the 2024 BTSCON are EXTENDED! The deadline for submissions is now August 9th. BTSCON registration is also open! Make sure to register and spread the word to your networks and colleagues! Register to attend and see our exciting keynote speakers here. A new international team science project on cognition in intellectual disability is seeking collaborators! The project will create a global database to enable a comprehensive study of intellectual disability. The core advisory group will set the main research protocol, but participating groups can propose additional exploratory questions for separate publications. We're currently preparing the protocol and recruiting research teams. Fill out the expression of interest form if you might be interested in participating. project updates Object Orientation Study (PSA-002) The manuscript is under review at Current Psychology. Gendered Prejudice Study (PSA-003) The lead team is working on finalizing the manuscript for submission to PLOS-One. Stereotype Threat (PSA-005) Data collection for the project has been completed! The lead team continues working on analysis and writing for final submission.. Semantic Priming Study (PSA-007) The lead team has officially submitted the Stage 2 Registered Report at Nature Human Behavior! Minimal Groups Study (PSA-008) Data collection continues to expand to more sites as translations become available. PSA-JTF-001: Moral Experiences Data collection has continued, and most of the translations have been implemented and tested. PSA-JTF-002: Dignity Honor Face Collaborators have now begun applying for ethics, and we will be ready to preregister and begin translation and data collection in English shortly.
