Save the Date – Workshop on Venus-Analogue Exoplanets (Oct. 2026, Granada, Spain)
Venus-Analogue Exoplanets: Atmospheres, Evolution, and Observational Frontiers
22 October 2026, Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC), Granada, Spain
This focused meeting will bring together observers, modelers, and planetary scientists to discuss the nature, evolution, and detection of potential Venus-like exoplanets in the era of JWST and upcoming missions. Confirmed invited speaker: Stephen Kane.
Further details, including registration and abstract submission deadline, will follow soon.
IMPORTANT!
The workshop has no fee. It will be held during the SO Advanced School “Where skies meet: multidisciplinary view of planet and exoplanet atmospheres" (registration fee will apply) https://www.granadacongresos.com/whereskiesmeet. Our aim is to optimise the travel of people potentially interested in both (and hopefully minimise our CO2 footprint).
