VERITAS is taking over @NASAExpeditions this week on X and Facebook

The VERITAS science team recently completed field work in Iceland to measure roughness and determine the composition of multiple basaltic lava flows.  At the same time, a DLR radar flight campaign was scanning the same lava flows.  Working together, these two science campaigns will provide a ground truth for future radar imaging of Venus.  You can see images of the field campaign this week on both X and Facebook.  Make sure to like and share the page!!
