Hello Venusians!

The Planetary Society has a new advocacy opportunity as part of their Save NASA Science campaign.

The Co-Chairs of the Planetary Science Caucus, Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) and Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE), are leading a letter to congressional appropriators urging them to fully fund NASA’s Science Mission Directorate, the NASA Office of STEM Engagement, and the National Science Foundation in the final FY 2026 Commerce-Justice-Science budget. The letter requests the adoption of the Senate funding levels for these science agencies and incorporate a key protection against impoundment found in the House bill. This effort has broad support in Congress, the scientific community, and the public.
