Dear participants,

Here is some important information about the workshop on 13.1 and 14.1.2023.

Location: TGM Wexstraße 19-23, 1200 Vienna, Austria (the room will be marked with signs).

Start on 13.1.2023 is at 10:00 with registration starting at 9:00

Duration on 13.1.2023 until about 17:30 (exact end depending on the situation)

Start on 14.1.2023 at 9:00

Duration on 14.1.2023 until max. 14:00

Ideally, all team members and advisors should come to the workshop. However, if the number of team members coming to the workshop differs from the number of people registered, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Laptops (min. 2 per team) and some tools (screwdrivers, pliers) are to be brought to the workshop.

Approximate schedule:

Friday: Getting to know the sets, Advisor tutorial regarding outreach workshops, individual work on the basics of programming and construction.

Saturday: More complex tasks and Q&A about this year's game.

One more additional info to the Austrian teams who will receive a sponsored set (Botball Set + 10 Junior Botball). The Botball Set is in one package (48cm x 44cm x 42cm), and the 10 Junior Botball Sets are in two other much smaller packages. From experience, the material can be transported on the train with enough people, as many parts in the set can also be placed in backpacks, etc. Shipping of the material is not planned, but should it still be absolutely desired, we may be able to organize this individually during the workshop at our own expense.
