Dear Participants,

We are really sorry for this late announcement. Due to the COVID situation in December, it was challenging for us to plan the ECER Workshop together with the TGM. We now have agreed on the following date:

  • 18.1.2022 (9:00 to 17:00)
  • 19.1.2022 (9:00 to 13:00)
Address: Wexstraße 19-23, 1200 Vienna (Room: Exnersaal)

The workshop will, of course, only be held if the situation in January permits it and the school risk level is at 2 or below. We plan to update you on 10.1.2022 regarding the workshop and if it will take place. A 2G certificate and registration will be required to participate in the workshop.

If we have to cancel the workshop, we are currently NOT planning on doing an entire online replacement event since we believe the main benefit of being on the game table for the first time of the season would be missing. However, please let us know if you have other opinions about that.

In the meantime, we wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from PRIA!

Dear ECER participants,

due to multiple circumstances, we have decided that the ECER workshop preliminarily announced for Jan 18 & 19 will be cancelled. In addition to the Omicron situation, there have been delays with processing our order for Botball equipment in the US and it is not certain if the equipment would arrive in time for the workshop. For teams who have specified "pickup at PRIA", we will contact you regarding how to get you your kit.

As previously announced we are not planning on doing an online event covering the whole workshop's agenda, so watch out for the release of the 2022 game, which normally coincides with the Oklahoma Botball workshop that will be held this weekend. Keep your eyes on the team home base and let us know if you have not yet gotten access to it. For Open teams, we will of course mirror the documents at http://webspace.pria.at/ecer2022/ as soon as we get them.

One part of the workshop that is definitely worth preserving in an online format, however, is the rules Q&A session. KIPR has offered to tune in for this, so for timezone reasons this will likely be in the afternoon or evening. If it is compatible with KIPR's schedule, Tuesday Jan 18 would be the prime candidate for this session. We will update you with the specifics.

This cancellation is unfortunate, but we're positive that you will still get the most out the season this way.

Kind regards, your ECER team at PRIA
