Hey everyone,

I was at Steve's shop this morning and got to see our new bandsaw.  It is a 1970s vintage 20" saw that is far superior in construction and ability to adjust than our Rikon models, which Steve says are not the cost of maintaining them, if at all.

The first is a photo of the same band saw that Steve refurbished and has in his shop. This is what our's will look like when he is done with the other one.  Notice the brake feature at the bottom of the bandsaw. 

He is using it as a teaching tool for a group on refurbishing the machine. It will cost us about $600.  He paid $100 for the one in need of repair.
