Hey All,
The next Textiles Lab Meeting is this coming Saturday, June 15 @11 am.
We are going to discuss ways to increase engagement with the Textiles Lab, including:
-Scheduling fixed drop in "office hours" each month when a committed Textiles Lab member can be available to answer textiles questions for any new or curious members.
-Scheduling a Cricut class potentially hosted by @Anna or @Patricia Mansfield
-A spinning wheel demonstration or class hosted by @Anna
Additional topics on the agenda are:
-A makerspace wide Open Studios to be hosted this fall for members to showcase and market their makerspace made items.
-Installing an exhaust fan or other type of ventilation in the space
As always, anyone can present any additional items or ideas they have to improve the space.
Looking forward to another textiles lab conversation.
