Aloha kakou,

Greetings from your new Race Committee Chair.  I am looking forward to us working together.

Just a few items for you.

First Item-2026 Race Packet and Results Sharing:
  • Please send your Race Registration information and Race Results to Matthew Taufa'asau at webmas...@pnworca.org so he can upload them to the website.  Also, let him know of anything else you think should be included on the site.
  • Please use the PNWORCA General Members email address to share your Registration Packets directly with the membership.
  • I encourage you to use social media to share your race Information as you see fit.
Second Item-2027 Race Committee:
  • I would like to hold a Race Committee meeting sometime after the IVF World Sprints so we can discuss the questions brought up at the October 2026 Race Committee meeting.  Topics will include Race Application Process, Mentoring new Host Clubs, and Site Specific Safety protocols.  If there is something you want to add, please let me know.
  • We will still have the Race Committee meeting in October to finalize the 2027 Race Schedule for presentation to the General Membership.
  • Please let me know what meeting format works best for you; Zoom, Teams, or Meet. There were a few club representatives who were not able to sign on last time.
  • Make sure I have your correct email address.  There were some club representatives who were not on the last invite list and missed the meeting.

Thank you for the helpful information, Cris.  Zoom works for Mountain Home.  Also, please add Andi Ellis to the Race Committee contact list as she is our MHCC Race Rep.

Hello All, 

On the back of Cris' email, I'd like to introduce myself as the new secretary for PNWORCA. At the beginning of the year, I sent out a request to update your team contacts, one of those inputs is for Race Director. I've heard from seven teams, so if you haven't responded, could please ask you to fill it out
