Aloha Paddlers,
Registration is now live for the Noisy Waters 9-Man Race on beautiful Lake Whatcom in Bellingham! Co-hosted by BBOP and Kai Pana, we invite you to join us for a day of paddling, community, and celebration.
If you haven’t yet filled out the intent survey it’s still helpful for planning, especially for crews participating in the change race.
Short Course – 5 miles
Long Course – 12 miles
Water Change Course – ~18 miles
Boat Classes:
Women Spec OC6 / Women UL OC6
Men Spec OC6 / Men UL OC6
Mixed Spec OC6 / Mixed UL OC6
No plate lunch this year
We will have Potluck table by BBOP and Kai Pana
Vendor area and beer garden open post-race
Permits & AIS Inspections: Required for all canoes and escort boats launching at Lake Whatcom. Arrive early and prepared.
Escort Boat Crew: Each operator, change manager, and crew must register and sign the online waiver here

Escort Boats: The race committee is seeking local boats, but clubs are encouraged to recruit their own.

Looking to get on-board with a Mixed or Men's crew for water changes (preferably) or Iron for the Lake Whatcom Aug-16 race. Can go any seat, steering to stroke. Been doing V1 12-Miles+ practices for several weeks.
