Hope everyone is having a great day,

 

This year is the 2026 IVF World Sprints at Singapore in August.  So our qualified crews once again will be using these sprint races to race and fine tune their crews for WS.

 

We will only be using Spec OC6's for all our Sprint Regatta.  

 

At Hui Wa'a O Puget Sound Regatta, we will only be doing straight away 500 meters for all age divisions V1/OC1 events and for OC6 events that will have World Sprint crews entered. So please note on your pre-registration WS in front of your crew entered. 

 

For Example:

Event #2 Open Men 1500 - Entered Race Column - WS-2 HWOPS (World Sprint - 2 entries)

Event #11 Kupuna Master Women - Entered Race Column - WS-1 HWOPS (World Sprint - 1 entry)

Event Insert V1 Open Women - Entered Race Column - WS-1 Jane Doe (World Sprint - 1 entry}

 

For Multiple entries - Best to send Names and event entries for World Sprint V1 

Please write your names for all entries for V1 racers and age division racing

 

Paddlers that don't have a V1 can use their own OC1 to race to fill out lanes and just race.  You can race as many V1/OC1 events and go in your age division and go in other not your age events unofficially to just get a time. 

Non WS 500 meter OC6 Events will be run on the 250-meter course with 1 turn.

 

Note: There are changes to some event #'s to the Pre-Registration Form and we renamed all V1/OC1 events as Event Inserts. We will try to run our regatta using the parameters set by this years race committee. We reserve the right to make changes due to time constraints.
