Aloha kakou na hoe waʻa,

 

Seattle Parks and Recreation has confirmed that our race at Green Lake is OK to proceed.

 

The public warnings of the algae bloom at Green Lake is isolated to the north end of the lake, specifically at the West and East Beaches.  Our sprint regatta is held in the far South end near the Rowing Center.  Thus, there is little or no concern about the bloom affecting our paddlers and our race.  With warm though partly cloudy skies we are in for an excellent day of racing.  See you on the water.
