Aloha e Nancy,

Yes, an Invasive Species Permit is required for all non-motorized boats when entering from the Oregon side of the Columbia River, including non-residents.

Here is the link to purchase your permit: https://odfw.huntfishoregon.com/customer/catalog

Here is a screen shot of the permit that makes the most sense for your wa’a.

Hope you find this helpful

Aloha, Cris!

Our Silverdale teams are registered for the Rooster Rock. There is no information regarding water access permits on the race flyer.

I sent an email to Mountain Home’s director inquiring about the need for one. I have not had a response.

So…I presume we need one. Right, Cris!?

I know YOU will know!

Mahalo,

Nancy Marrill

Hi everyone,

FYI, MHCC and MHCC members have 12 water ways permits for the race.
