Latest DX Spots and Latest WWV Report links in the tools section don't work. The DX Spots opens a window with this error: "{"status": 404, "message": "Not Found. You have requested this URI [/api/v1/text/Default.aspx] but did you mean /api/v1/text/client.txt or /api/v1/text/<string:query> ?"}"

WWV Reports opens a window and says: "404 File not found"

Hi Dave, its working for me.

As I said in the last email (repeating since I did not reply all) - make sure you are on the latest version of HamLog, 4.93 or later. If not, settings, apps, clear cache/data, uninstall. Reinstall the latest version from Play Store or Apple.

I did have an issue with DX Cluster force quitting, but if I made sure to disconnect each session before trying to reconnect I did not have that problem. WWV worked fine.

I'm using a home wireless connection at the moment, but works over ATT LTE and 3G as well.

Make sure your Internet connection is solid as well.

Here's my screen capture - hope someone finds it helpful - https://youtu.be/JcuNTJYwLug

It would be helpful for the developer of the App to know what OS, version of OS, and version of HamLog. If you screenshot your settings that would also be helpful. My settings are shown in the video. dx.k3lr.com on port 23 works for me.

LOL - ok, well, maybe someone will find the other stuff helpful!

Have you tried it in different browsers? Same thing IE? You can download portable versions of Firefox, Opera, etc for testing that do not require an install - you can run them directly from a folder or USB stick.

Have you installed the Chrome App for Hamlog? It isn't much different than going to the URL directly but might help. (settings, more tools, extensions, Chrome Store)

You could try running something like CCleaner to clean up the cookies and cache, restart Chrome and try again. Chrome likes to run in the background by default, so perhaps reboot - There have also been lots of security issues with adjuncts to Chrome like Flash and Java - so possibly something got broken - try another browser perhaps.

Hi Charlie,
Thanks for the prompt reply. I guess I didn't explain that I was using my desktop. The APP on my Android tablet works great. The trouble I am having is on the website: http://hamlog.it/tools/. I am using the Chrome browser version 44.0.2403.125 m and Windows Vista.

Hi Dave,

I just tried both these in Hamlog (Android 4.4.4 Hamlog version 4.93). I had no issue except the DXCluster window force quit, but when I changed the cluster info to dx.k3lr.com port 23, it worked fine. It did force quit a few times after that, but if I made sure to disconnect the previous session before opening it again I did not have the problem.

There have been many updates related to paths to external sites and APIs - make sure you have the latest version.

If you could maybe screenshot your settings and provide info on version of Android and HamLog, that would also be helpful.

I'm uploading a screen capture and will send the link along shortly.

OK - thanks David, I can confirm your issue in both Chrome and IE (latest) on Windows 8.1 x64

This looks like a website issue - perhaps a file permission, execute permission on a script, or missing file - I'm sure Nick will fix it soon.

Thanks,
Charley

I have fixed this.  Sorry about that, David.  I fixed it in the iOS/Android versions when it happened but forgot to do it here.

Thanks for helping out, Charley.
